Acting and Imitating
I really like to act ever since I remember. And I think I do that reasonably well too. I just enjoy the proven fact that you could slip into the skin of some one else and live their life for a bit. Experience and share the feelings one could have, have that been character being a live person. In the entire episode while you are doing so, you shed of your own skin as a person and leave you history and life behind that of the character that you are playing. This gives me the opportunity to break out from the routine life and emotions I really have and live some one else’s life.
I’ve been participating a lot since the time I was at school. There would be annual functions, competition, little skits etc and I might be the central performer all of the time. As I grew my enthusiasm for acting grew as well . I go to the cinemas. Though, I might be honest that getting the break their wasn’t a child’s play. While being in the faculty or varsity you believe that you’re the just one on the face of the earth who is blessed with the acting talent. But when you get out there you get to see others who have an edge above you. An exposure to a fact like that could truly be scary. In the real world you would meet people who are way more gifted than you are. It is as if a collection of fake purses meet the original designer collection and becoming familiar with that they were really what they suspected they were, they are mere reflections.
This doesn’t mean that I was bad as an actor like the top nicked AAA++++ fake purses would be nearly as good as the first are, it is simply that I required more time to establish myself as an actor and earn that goodwill as a designer handbag would have over the facsimile one, regardless of being sinfully identical.
Over so many years, I have learned that regardless of how perfect you’re feeling you are but then there’s always a scope of improvement. And I shall give the credit of the same to the theater experience that has opened my eyes to the fact that there’s a difference between imitating a personality and acting being that character.
It’s been long since that time, and I have evolved. I’m an established actor now. And for all the expectant actors out there I want to assert that no matter how good you are with your acting abilities, you want to learn to identify the weak points. As properly said by a smart man the strength of the chain is known by its weakest link. Only if you would perfect your weak talents you’d be able to shine bright, not by polishing your talent. This is the philosophy of my forty five years of acting carrier and I am content to have followed the aforesaid. I just have to say, my affinity with fake purses totally have become a big part of me.
